Day 543

We are all more than we appear to be only some people don’t understand that so they make assumptions – that’s what I learned today

It’s 5 : 46 PM on day 543 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth,   work - in between work I  prepared and published my Disability of the Day feature –   drink tea by myself, work some more,  feed myself a peanut butter sandwich for breakfast, continue working, feed myself rice and curry for lunch,  watch TV and go to physiotherapy – I don’t have to go again until next month my physiotherapist is going on vacation can you say yay :)

Today as I was waiting for the laptop to switch on I remembered the visitor who came over to our house last week, saw me using the laptop and asked what are you playing to which my mom replied she’s not playing she’s working on her projects remembering that I smiled because I finally realized that I shouldn’t be bothered what people think of me because they’re going to think that I do nothing regardless of what I do. Are you able to see people for more than what they appear to be?
