I am vain – that’s what I learned today.
It’s 3: 38 PM on day 569 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, prepare and publish my Disability of the Day feature, feed myself homemade rice cakes -it’s basically sweetened rice molded into a triangle shape (it’s something our we eat during holy week) – for breakfast, drink tea by myself, work, go to the dentist, watch TV, feed myself vegetable burger for lunch and watch some more TV.
Today my dentist told me she would internally bleach my tooth one last time and that if it didn’t work this time she would try something else the disappointment I felt at the fact that the procedure wasn’t working surprised me considering I had never considered myself to be vain I guess there’s a little part of all of us that is vain which is okay. Are you willing to admit to your not-so-nice qualities?
