The world is backwards– that’s what I keep learning 
It’s 2 : 51 PM on day 599 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, feed myself Oats for breakfast, publish my Disability of the Day feature, exercise my right hand – still need more practice eating with a fork and knife – drink Green Tea by myself and watch TV.
A couple of days ago #youknowyourhigh was trending worldwide on Twitter which compels me to ask what’s wrong with the world we glamorize all the negative things and people in the world while ignoring positive things and EXTRAORDINARY people like Shaka Sisulu of CheeseKids, Kendall Ciesemier of KidsCaring4Kids, Mallory of Project Yesu and Salman Khan of Khan Academy to name a few. Do you praise the good and criticize the bad?
