Keep an open mind– that’s what I keep learning 
It’s 7: 05 PM on day 656 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, feed myself Appam and chicken curry for breakfast, drink juice by myself, publish my Disability of the Day feature, watch the movie Ice Age: Continental Drift at the Hemingways Mall, feed myself Greek yogurt mixed with tomato for dinner and brush my teeth once more.
This afternoon when we – my sister, her friends and I – decided to watch Ice Age 4 in 3D because there was nothing better to watch I thought it would be all sorts of awful to my surprise though the movie wasn’t in the least bit childish it was about family, friendship and growing up just goes to show you never know what you like until you try it. Do you keep an open mind?
