    I believe your right about the athletes, Nisha. If they hadn’t been able to tap into their inner strength and been able to move past their disability, there is no telling where they would be in life right now. I also believe that it depends on the support system they have in place too. If they have people who pity and do everything for them, they might not have had the drive to succeed.

    I so wish we could watch the Paralympics here in the U.S., but we are only going to get about 5.5 hours of coverage total and it won’t air until the games are over. I wanted to see Oscar Pistorius run and learn about more athletes. This is the first games that I’ve ever really paid attention to and I’m pretty sure it’s because disability never affected my life until my son was born.
