Day 719

You can choose not to be dragged into people’s drama – that’s what I learned today

It’s 3 : 27 PM on day 719 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, feed myself an egg sandwich for breakfast, drink coffee by myself, prepare and publish my Disability of the Day feature,  continue reading Ransom My Heart by Meg Cabot, practice typing with both hands and listen to music.

This morning something happened which made me realize that people who bashed their lives, me or other people weren’t worth it so from today onwards I will not write about, think about or engage with negative people because that only takes focus away from my goals I want to become independent in every way, make a difference and travel the world but I can’t do that if I’m always reacting to negativity. Are you constantly being dragged into people’s drama without even realizing it?
