Learn to have fun by yourself and you’ll never get bored - that’s what I keep learning 
It’s 2 : 34 PM on day 773 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, practice sitting up straight to strengthen my core muscles, feed myself All Bran Flakes an apple for breakfast, publish my Disability of the Day feature, work, stretch my hamstrings, spend time outside – it’s such a beautiful spring day I figured it would be a shame to waste it sitting inside life’s too short not to enjoy the small things because the small are the big things in disguise - listen to music and watch TV.
Today while outside I realized I was one of those people who could have fun by myself doing whatever of course I have friends but they have their own lives which turns out to be a blessing in disguise because I have really learned to enjoy my own company I put on music (when nobody’s home) and sing along, I read, bird watch …… it’s quite fun I know that there will be a stage in my life where I’m surrounded by people but for right now I’ll just go with the flow and appreciate every moment I have alone.
